Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Account Setup

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Application.
• Linked Accounts: The Application functions by linking two independent accounts via a unique, randomized invitation code. You agree to only invite and link accounts with a consenting partner.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Not Professional Therapy Disclaimer

• No Clinical Relationship: The Application is a self-guided, educational wellness tool. Although developed with clinical insights by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), use of this Application does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
• Not a Medical Device: The Application does not provide medical advice, mental health diagnosis, clinical assessment, or formal psychological treatment. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
• Crisis Protocols: The Application is not monitored by medical or clinical personnel. If you or your partner are experiencing a mental health emergency, severe relationship distress, domestic violence, or a crisis, you must immediately contact emergency services (such as 988 or 911 in the United States) or seek professional clinical evaluation.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

• 7-Day Free Trial: New accounts may receive a 7-day free trial. You must provide valid payment details to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the 8th day, you will be automatically charged for your selected subscription plan.
• Subscription Tiers: We offer recurring monthly ($9.99/couple) and annual ($79.99/couple) plans.
• Payment Processing: All transactions are securely handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and authorize them to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Cancellation & Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the in-app Customer Billing Portal powered by Stripe. Cancellations stop future renewals, but we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing cycles.

4. Acceptable Use & Anonymous Data Behavior

Because our database uses an anonymized separation architecture to protect your privacy, you agree to the following rules:

• No Identifying Data: You agree not to input real names, social security numbers, physical addresses, or highly specific identifying details into the daily text reflection fields.
• Prohibited Content: You may not use the text fields to transmit harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or threatening language to your partner.
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access immediately if you violate these behavioral guidelines.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, layout, design, text prompts, weekly exercises, and software algorithms within the Application are the exclusive intellectual property of the Application creator and are protected by copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial relationship enhancement.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

• As-Is Basis: The Application is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• Relationship Outcomes: We cannot guarantee specific relationship improvements, behavioral changes, or outcomes as a result of using the Application.
• Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, relationship dissolution, or emotional distress arising out of your use of the platform.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or via a banner inside the Application interface. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
